The Blazer was first introduced in 1969 as a utilitarian off-roader built on a full-size pickup truck Chassis. Today, that role is filled by the Tahoe, and the Blazer has been reborn as a mid-size SUV that focuses on performance. The Blazer was reintroduced in 2019 and was initially offered with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a 3.6-liter V6, with the 2.5-liter engine eventually being replaced by a 2.0-liter turbocharged power plant. It was given a facelift in 2023, and now has more aggressive styling to reflect what sets this five-seater apart from other midsize SUV offerings from Chevrolet, not to mention other GM brands.
