Used Ford Escape For Sale in Buffalo, NY

With up to 3,000 pounds of towing capability, a maximum of 60.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity (34.4 cubic feet with all seats in place), and spacious seating for five, you might forget that the Ford Escape is a compact crossover with the sort of maneuverability that makes it ideal for navigating around tight Buffalo streets. The Escape’s true calling card, however, is its technological capabilities. The newest models include an eight-inch infotainment display with an intuitive, easy-to-use navigation system, as well as Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Even in its most basic configuration, the Escape delivers a strong audio experience, with an available 10-speaker B&O system serving as a top-end upgrade, and the cabin is dotted with USB connections.

Whether you’re in North Tonawanda, Orchard Park, or anywhere in between, Basil Family Dealerships is your source for the largest used Ford Escape selection —not to mention every other Ford model, and the best of other manufacturers as well. Our helpful staff is standing by to answer any questions you may have or arrange a test drive. We look forward to working with you!

Ford Escape Powertrain Options

Most newer Escape models, from the 2020 to 2026 model years, have four powertrain options, including two conventional gas-powered engines, a mild hybrid, and a plug-in hybrid:

  • 1.5L EcoBoost® Turbocharged I-3 (180 horsepower/199 lb-ft of torque)
  • 2.0L EcoBoost® Turbocharged I-4 (250 horsepower/280 lb-ft of torque)
  • 2.5L Atkinson-Cycle Hybrid (192 horsepower/155 lb-ft of torque)
  • 2.5L Atkinson-Cycle Plug-In Hybrid (210 horsepower/155 lb-ft of torque)

The plug-in hybrid is only available in front-wheel drive, though all-wheel drive is standard on the high-end Platinum, ST-Line Select and ST-Line Elite trims, and available on the Active and ST-Line trims.

Models older than 2020, which are part of the Escape’s third generation, include one of three engines. The standard option is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder affair with 168 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. From there, and depending on the trim level, upgrades include a turbocharged inline four with an additional ten horsepower and, at the top of the food chain, a 2.0-liter setup with 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. All years and trims include front-wheel drive as standard, though all-wheel drive is available everywhere except the entry-level S trim.
