How long have you been working for Basil? Just over 3 years!
What drew you to Basil originally? I was a fellow Oldsmobile Dealer with Joe Jr & Mike, way back!
What have you gained from working at Basil? Without a doubt, TEAM SPIRIT!
What’s the best work related story you have? When a South Buffalo Lady who runs a soup kitchen came in for a van. She was on a very limited budget…the Basil Family Dealerships came together and assisted with the cost to make it affordable for her.
What’s advice can you give to prospective Basil employees? You have to LOVE your job!
What do you like most about your job? It’s a friendly atmosphere here.
Anything else you’d like to share about your experiences here? I’d like to give a shoutout to Tim Kramer, he’s one of the best mechanics in Buffalo!
Tell us a little bit about yourself? I grew up in the car business. My father was a mechanic…I started working at Ballard Oldsmobile in Lackawanna washing cars.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you? James Dean….he was cool!
What is your favorite thing about Buffalo? The friendly people!
Do you have any hobbies?  Yes! I have an Oldsmobile Model Car Collection that I started at Age 6!
What is the greatest obstacle you’ve overcame?  Going from being an owner back to selling
If you had to suggest one thing to do in Buffalo for someone visiting, what would it be?   Go to Illio DiPaolo’s Italian Restaurant in Blasdell!
What is your spirit animal? A FOX!
What do you like to do on your days off?  I was a marathoner, now an avid biker. I try to do 25 miles on my days off.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?   Mindreader !
You’re happiest when…. I’m having a great selling month!
What might someone be surprised to know about you?  In 1984 when I was a Subaru Dealer, I got Subaru to sponsor a 5K run in Buffalo. This year will be the 35th running of the race!
